Single-Arch Replacement or Correction Aligner
Sometimes an active Clear Fusion Aligner treatment plan needs one well-placed understudy. This single-arch option may replace an aligner or make a limited correction for either your upper or lower teeth.
What it is
Clear Fusion Aligner Oops is a removable, clear aligner in the Clear Fusion Aligner series. It is made for one arch—either your upper teeth or your lower teeth—and can replace an aligner or make a small correction to your front teeth during an active aligner case. In other words, it handles one specific piece of the existing plan without rolling out the red carpet for a full new case series. It moves and aligns teeth, but only within that single-arch role.
Who it’s for
This product may be used when one aligner has been lost, damaged, or no longer fits during active treatment. It may also provide a small touch-up to the front teeth in one arch. It is not for bigger changes, or for the back teeth; those belong with the full Clear Fusion Aligner case series. It is for someone already being treated with the Clear Fusion Aligner family who needs a single-arch addition to the current plan—the dental equivalent of replacing one cast member, not restaging the whole production.
It is not a substitute for full or two-arch treatment planning, and it is not for someone who is not already in an active aligner plan. Nor is a single replacement or correction aligner intended for rotations, movement of a tooth outward from the gum, or other significant movements beyond what one aligner can achieve. Cases that need fixed braces or other fixed mechanics require a different approach.
What to expect
Your dentist or orthodontist will decide whether you need a replacement or a limited correction for your upper or lower arch. The aligner must match the stage of the Clear Fusion Aligner series you are currently using; arriving at the right party on the wrong day is still the wrong day. Your treating clinician will identify that stage and explain where the single-arch aligner belongs in your ongoing plan.
Ask your dentist or orthodontist when to wear it, how it fits into your current stages, and what result is planned for the single arch. This is one occasion when “I’ll just see where it fits” is not a treatment strategy.

This is a removable aligner, so follow the cleaning, storage, eating, and drinking directions your dentist or orthodontist gave you for your current Clear Fusion Aligner treatment. Ask the office how to care for this aligner and how its place in your current treatment stage affects the instructions you receive. It may be a one-arch assignment, but it still expects the full cleaning-and-storage arrangements.
